# Notification fixes

> A set of fixes for notifications that arrived late, twice, or not at all.

After the 2.3.0 release, some of you told us that notifications were arriving twice, late, or for projects you no longer follow. This update fixes those issues.

## Fixed

- Assigning a task sent two emails when the task also had a due date.
- The daily digest was sent at 8:00 UTC instead of 8:00 in your own time zone.
- Archived projects still sent notifications for comments and due dates.
- Muting a task did not mute notifications for its subtasks.
- Some notification links opened the board instead of the task.

## Your settings

Your notification settings were not changed by this update. To review them, open **Settings → Notifications**. You can choose, per project, whether you want every update, mentions only, or nothing at all.
