# Guest access for clients and freelancers

> Invite people outside your team into a single project. They see only what you share, and they do not count as paid seats.

Many projects involve people who are not on your team: a client who approves designs, a freelancer who writes copy, a partner who needs to follow progress. Guest access lets you bring them in without giving them the keys to your whole workspace.

## What’s new

- **Project-level invites**: invite a guest by email from the project’s **Share** menu.
- **Limited by default**: guests only see the project they were invited to. They cannot browse other projects, people, or workspace settings.
- **Choose what they can do**: guests can comment only, or comment and edit tasks assigned to them.
- **Free for guests**: each project can have up to 10 guests at no extra cost.

## Permissions at a glance

Guests are marked with a small badge next to their name everywhere in Taskly, so your team always knows who can see a conversation.
