# Two-way calendar sync

> Connect your work calendar and see tasks and meetings side by side. Move a task in either place and both stay in sync.

Your tasks and your meetings compete for the same hours, so they should live on the same calendar. With two-way calendar sync, tasks with a due date appear in the calendar app you already use, and your meetings appear in the Taskly calendar view.

## What’s new

- **Tasks in your calendar**: each task with a due date becomes an event in a dedicated "Taskly" calendar, with a link back to the task.
- **Two-way updates**: drag the event to another day and the task’s due date changes too. Change the date in Taskly and the event moves.
- **Meetings in Taskly**: your meetings appear as gray blocks in the calendar view, so you can plan work around them.
- **Choose what syncs**: sync only your own tasks, a single project, or everything assigned to your team.

## Good to know

> Calendar sync never edits or deletes your existing meetings. It only manages the events it creates.

Sync runs every few minutes. To connect a calendar, open **Settings → Integrations → Calendar** and follow the steps. You can disconnect at any time, and the synced events are removed.
